Cast with a small dragon head forming the hook, the faceted handle of elongated leaf shape applied with a thin gold sheet forming a pattern of intertwined snakelike dragons with heads and eyes forming a subsidiary taotie design, the flat top of the button to the reverse also inlaid in gold (losses to inlay, corrosion). 8 1/2in (21.5cm) long - Sold for $4,000 plus Premium and tax

The tall cylindrical container supported on three short feet and its exterior walls surrounded by two bands of strap work, the upper band coinciding with a loop handle, the cover top finished with two raised concentric rings, the surfaces displaying a mottled blue and green patina as well as some earthen adhesions. 6in (15cm) high - Estimate: $2,000 - 3,000

The oviform container raised on three legs and bisected by a raised horizontal band that passes through the ring handle to one side, the cover topped with three ring supports and both sections displaying patches of green patina with some earthen adhesions (minor repair). 4in (10cm) high - Sold for $1,500 plus Premium and tax
