A large blue and white porcelain vase with dragon decoration - Qianlong Mark, Late Qing Dynasty

Of thickly potted archaistic hu form molded to the shoulder with a pair of stylized cloud-shaped handles, its body of inverted pear form painted with opposing pairs of dragons chasing after a flaming pearl amid clouds and flames above scudding waves, all rendered in cobalt wash and vigorously drawn outline beneath a celadon-tinged glaze that extends over the recessed base bearing the six-character Qianlong Mark in seal script (rim chips). Height 16 3/4in (42.5cm) - Sold for $7,500 plus Premium and tax

Its shallow curving well and exterior walls painted with dragons chasing a flaming pearl amid clouds, the six-character mark written in two rows of regular script to the recessed base. Diameter 15in (38cm) - Sold for $6,000 plus Premium and tax

A Longquan celadon figural covered censer - Ming Dynasty

Thickly modeled as a reticulated mountain side with shallow interior cup fronted by a depiction of the Song calligrapher/painter Mi Fei watching a servant wash the trunks of leafy wutong trees, the pierced cover modeled as a mountain peak rising behind the sun and clouds, the olive green glaze covering most surfaces and the exposed fabric burnt a dark cinnamon brown in places (chips, small losses, old repairs). Height 7 1/2in (19cm) - Sold for $3,250 plus Premium and tax

A Longquan celadon stoneware deep dish with incised decoration - 14th/15th Century

Thickly potted with a wide rim flange surrounding a shallow cavetto incises with scrolls and the flat floor with a lotus flower and leaf scrolls, the exterior walls encircled by a band of raised lotus petals and the soft gray-green glaze covering all surfaces but the foot ring (glaze worn). Diameter 14in (35.5cm) - Sold for $2,750 plus Premium and tax
