Displaying a grimacing face beneath a flying phoenix that forms his headdress and animal heads with reticulated horns as the shoulder guards to his body armor as he stands with raised right arm upon a recumbent ox, the surfaces highlighted with green, amber and colorless enamels as well as traces of pigment (restored). 38 1/4in (97cm) high - Sold for $7,000 plus Premium and tax

Runde, geschulterte Vase mit Blaumalerei von Blüten- und Blattdekor. Im unteren Bereich Felder sowie im oberen Bereich der Schulter drei große Blattmotive mit darin befindlichen kleineren Blüten- und Blattmotiven. Schmale, sich nach außen weitende Lippe. Deckel mit Blaumalerei und Abschlussknauf.

Two Jizhou ware tea bowls - Southern Song/Yuan Dynasty The smaller bowl of inverted bell form with flared rim displaying a tortoise shell glaze of mottled amber splashes on the dark ferruginous ground (base drilled); the larger bowl of conical form displaying on its shallow well an abstracted prunus branch and cloud design in bluish-white slip on the dark ferruginous ground (both with degraded glazes). 4 1/2 and 5 3/4in (11.5 and 14.5cm) diameter - Sold for $3,000 plus Premium and tax Note: The results of Oxford Authentication ltd.
