A rare pair of Transitional wucai beaker vases, gu - Mid 17th century Each brightly enamelled in three sections with a continuous scene of a seated scholar and attendants in a terraced garden, above a band of torn-off flowers, and another band of peaches and pomegranates (one rim restored, the other rim chipped). 45cm (17¾in) high.
