UN OUVRAGE DE RÉFÉRENCE : SINO-VIETNAMESE PORCELAINS IN THE NGUYEN PERIOD PAR TRAN DUC ANH SON.

Le terme « Bleu de Huê » a été inventé par Louis Chochod en 1909 pour désigner les porcelaines à décor peint en bleu de cobalt sous couverte qu'il découvrait à Huê. « Il existe deux catégories de porcelaines appelées « bleu de Hué ». Les premières sont fabriquées dans les environs de la capitale de l'Annam durant la période de 1802 à 1884.
